# List Accounts

> List all accounts associated with your API key

Retrieve a paginated list of accounts linked to your API key. Use the returned `account_id` values in all subsequent V2 action requests.

> [!NOTE]
>
> This endpoint is **free** — it does not consume any credits.

### Header Parameters

**x-api-key** `string` *required*

Your API key

### Query Parameters

**count** `integer` (default: 50)

Maximum number of accounts to return per page (1-500).

**offset** `integer` (default: 0)

Number of accounts to skip — use with `limit` to paginate (e.g. `offset=50&limit=50` for page 2).

### Response

**success** `boolean`

Whether the request was successful

**data** `object`

**Properties**

**items** `array`

**Account Object**

**account\_id** `string`

Unique identifier for the account (use this in action requests)

**platform** `string`

Platform type (e.g. "linkedin")

**account\_name** `string`

Display name of the account

**is\_active** `boolean`

Whether the account is currently active and usable

**status** `string`

Account status, always in step with `is_active`:

* `connected` — ready to use (`is_active: true`)
* `checkpoint_required` — waiting on a 2FA code, see [Checkpoint](https://docs.linkupapi.com/api-reference/v2/accounts/checkpoint.md)
* `disconnected` — the LinkedIn session expired; re-authenticate via [Connect Account](https://docs.linkupapi.com/api-reference/v2/accounts/login.md)

**checkpoint\_type** `string`

Where the code went, when `checkpoint_required`: `email`, `sms`, `authenticator_app`, `app_approval` or `code`.

**sent\_to** `string`

Masked destination when LinkedIn shows it, e.g. `phone number ending with 23`.

**country** `string`

Country code associated with the account

**created\_at** `string`

ISO 8601 timestamp of when the account was created

**updated\_at** `string`

ISO 8601 timestamp of the last account update

**sales\_nav** `object`

State of the account's Sales Nav seat.

**sales\_nav properties**

**connected** `boolean`

Whether the account currently has a usable Sales Nav seat.

**contract\_id** `string`

Sales Nav contract the seat belongs to. Present once a seat has been activated.

**seat\_id** `string`

The seat within that contract.

**connected\_at** `string`

ISO 8601 timestamp of the last seat activation or refresh. Only when `connected` is `true`.

**reason** `string`

Why the seat is unavailable. Only when `connected` is `false` and a seat existed before.

**disconnected\_at** `string`

ISO 8601 timestamp of when the seat was lost. Only when the seat died on its own.

**recruiter** `object`

LinkedIn accounts only. State of the account's Recruiter seat — `{ "connected": false }` when there is none. Same fields as `sales_nav`. Recruiter actions use this account's `account_id` (see [Recruiter seat](https://docs.linkupapi.com/api-reference/v2/accounts/login.md#recruiter-seat)).

**proxy** `object`

`{ "mode": "managed" }` or `{ "mode": "custom", "host": "...", "port": 8080 }` — see [Set Custom Proxy](https://docs.linkupapi.com/api-reference/v2/accounts/set-proxy). LinkedIn accounts only.

**total** `integer`

Total number of accounts matching the query (across all pages)

**limit** `integer`

The `limit` used for this request

**offset** `integer`

The `offset` used for this request

**metadata** `object`

**Properties**

**action** `string`

The action performed ("list\_accounts")

**credits\_consumed** `integer`

Always `0` — this endpoint is free

**timestamp** `string`

ISO 8601 timestamp of the response

### Sales Nav seat

Whether the account can run [lead searches](https://docs.linkupapi.com/api-reference/v2/profiles/search-people-nav.md), send InMails and read its [InMail balance](https://docs.linkupapi.com/api-reference/v2/messages/balance.md). The seat is derived from the LinkedIn session, so:

* account disconnects → seat goes with it; reconnecting restores it
* seat can die alone (expired licence, seat reassigned) → `is_active` stays `true`, `connected` turns `false` with a `reason`
* never had Sales Nav → just `{ "connected": false }`

### Recruiter seat

`recruiter` on the LinkedIn account tells whether its Recruiter seat is connected. Recruiter actions use the account's own `account_id` (see [Recruiter seat](https://docs.linkupapi.com/api-reference/v2/accounts/login.md#recruiter-seat)).

* several contracts → `contracts`, with `selected` on the current one (same in `sales_nav`)
* the seat and the account disconnect independently
* no seat → `"recruiter": { "connected": false }`

### Notes

* Use the `account_id` from the response in all V2 action requests
* Only accounts with `is_active: true` can be used for actions
* Results are sorted by `created_at` descending (newest first)
* Default page size is `50`; the maximum allowed `limit` is `500`. To page through all accounts, increment `offset` by `limit` until `offset + limit >= total`
